The Foundation has its office at Eldeco Xpress Plaza, Shaheed Path, Lucknow and its R&D centre in Sushant Golf City and Dular Mau, Lucknow. In addition, the foundation has an office in New Delhi dedicated to its research journal PMBP. he Major objectives of Foundation are to facilitate people in need with capacity building, novel research, innovations and technology transfer etc. The translation of research findings to the benefit of target audience requires consideration of socioeconomic, cultural and environmental determinants of the region and communities and the robustness as well as maintenance systems and support for the implemented technologies. The key focus of our R&D center is to understand the insights of sustainable development and ecological restoration by involving stake holders, communities and volunteers.

The foundation works through its secretariate to execute the decisions taken by its executive committee based on its rules and regulations and the advice of various expert committees and scientific communities. The execution is done by the volunteers, Part-time experts and full-time employees associated with the foundation. The foundation has support of youth, academicians, scientists, researchers and field workers. The major share of the conceptualization, planning and execution of the programs are motivated by the voluntarism and commitments of the participating members.

प्रोफेसर एच. एस. श्रीवास्तव फाउंडेशन का मुख्य कार्यालय एल्डेको एक्सप्रेस प्लाजा, शहीद पथ, लखनऊ में है और अनुसंधान एवं विकास केंद्र सुशांत गोल्फ सिटी और दुलार मऊ, लखनऊ स्थित शाखा कार्यालय से चलाया जा रहा हैं। इसके अलावा, फाउंडेशन का एक कार्यालय नई दिल्ली में भी है जो अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शोध पत्रिका फिजिओलॉजी एण्ड मालिक्यूलर बायलोजी ऑफ प्लांट (पी. एम. बी. पी.) के संचालन के लिए समर्पित है|

फाउंडेशन के प्रमुख उद्देश्य अपनी लक्षित जनता के लाभ के लिए अत्याधुनिक वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान, नवाचारों और उपयोगी एवं धारणीय प्रौद्योगिकी के हस्तांतरण को शामिल करते हुए लोगों की क्षमता निर्माण तथा जरूरतमंद लोगों को सुविधा प्रदान करना है। संस्था का मानना है की विज्ञान के दर्शन और इसके स्थापित कार्य पद्धति से शांति, समृद्धि तथा प्रकृति संगत धारणीय विकास को हासिल करने मे बेहतर सफलता मिल सकती है | विज्ञान की तकनीकी दुधारी तलवार की तरह जितनी विकास की वाहक है, उतनी ही विनाश की भी| प्रदूषण, जलवायु परिवर्तन एवं युद्ध से जुड़े विनाश तकनीकों की बहुलता से ही इतने विध्वंसक हो पाएं हैं | इसके अनुसंधान एवं विकास केंद्र का मुख्य लक्ष्य सभी सम्बद्ध समुदायों एवं स्वयंसेवकों तथा विषय विशेषज्ञों को साथ-साथ शामिल करके सतत विकास एवं पारिस्थितिक बहाली के मर्म को समझना एवं इसका समुचित प्रबंधन किया जाना है | संस्था के नियमों के तहत विभिन्न विशेषज्ञ समितियों और वैज्ञानिकों की सलाह पर फाउंडेशन की कार्यकारी समिति योजनाएं बनाती है, कार्यान्वित करने के तरीके तय करती और अनुभवों तथा आकड़ों का विश्लेषण करती हैं | सभी कार्यो का निष्पादन स्वयंसेवकों, अंशकालिक विशेषज्ञों और कार्यकारी व्यक्तियों के एक छोटे समूह द्वारा किया जाता है। इसमें युवा, शिक्षाविदों के शोधकर्ता वैज्ञानिक और कुशल युवाओं की सक्रिय भागीदारी रहती हैं। कार्यक्रमों के संचालन, योजना निर्वाह और निष्पादन का प्रमुख हिस्सा समूह की स्वैच्छिकता और आत्म-चेतना से प्रेरित होता है।
